Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

Weekend Update

I had a great weekend. Which was much deserved after the week I had.

Friday, I left work a little early and took my car up to the dealership to have them fix a couple of rattles. Then I met a buddy out for dinner. After that, I picked up Steve and we headed up to Shaun's for a casual evening in with a few friends and a movie.

Saturday, I got up and ran errands. Took back some clothes that I bought a few weeks ago, because they've been hanging in my closet for two weeks and I have yet to wear them. So, back they go. Then I grabbed a Happy Meal for lunch, picked up a few underthings and came back home to get cleaned up and meet some friends out for dinner. After dinner, we went back to their place and watch more movies. It was a theme this weekend.

And Sunday, I slept until noon, woke up, stumbled to the couch and laid there the rest of the day. I think the stress of the week just caught up with me and kept me down. Steve and I watched six episodes of Firefly, a series by the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that was cancelled after the first season. Great show. Oh, and Steve listed our latex mattress on craigslist and had a few responses, so hopefully that will be gone soon. The new mattress seems to be workng out pretty well. We don't sleep hot and Steve's back isn't hurting every morning like it was before.

And that was Sunday. Boring, but needed. We don't really get a lot of time to sit for eight hours straight and do nothing. Sometimes your body just needs that apparently.

I think this coming week is pretty low key. I may shop after work Wednesday with a friend. And, according to my calendar, that's all I have planned. Huh.
