Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

Well our Winter Gathering was, again, a success! And I remember every minute of it! And could even drive myself and a friend home! I'm very proud of all of us. Everyone showed up to work today tired, but otherwise healthy. Good job team!

And now we're all wondering around like zombies, just watching the clock. I ran errands at lunch and was feeling bad about being gone so long, but only had one email and one voicemail when I got back. No one missed me. And that's a good thing.

Tonight is sushi with Donna & Sandra (I can't bring myself to shorten it D&S.......that's just wrong). Then, we don't have anything we have to do tomorrow. Wow.

Sunday is the Seahawks game at 10am. I don't know if I'm happy about it. We play the Chargers. They're 12-2. Ack. We're currently 8-6, two games up from San Fran and St. Louis, but just when I thought we had it in the bag against the Arizona, they beat us. The freakin' Cardinals, 3-10, beat us. Man. That hurt.

Anyway, that evening, Steve and I will go out for dinner, then come back home, light a fire, open a bottle of wine and exchange presents. We get all of our gifts out of the way on christmas eve so we can sleep in on christmas day before we head up to his family's.

I took Tuesday and Wednesday off. We're not doing anything. It's just to take a break from work. And there's all those sales on Tuesday!!
