Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

Seahawks 20 Washington 10

So, I haven't heard from anyone lately. No big family emails, no phone calls. No one has posted to their blogs recently. It seems all is quiet on the east coast.

Hmmmm. Everything okay over there?

Oh, I kid. I poke fun. You guys played a good game. Now we're down to 4 teams. I guess some of you will be rooting for the Steelers now.

Game on.

Ok, Ok, Congrats - I guess. We're all in mourning on the east coast, that's why you haven't heard from us. And we didn't really play a good game, at least not our offense, which is where all our problems are. However, we went to the playoffs - something that hasn't happened here in a long time - Hail to the Redskins. It was fun while it lasted. And don't think I'm rooting for your Seahawks either. I will now be a Panthers fan, I always did like them. Butch will be the Steelers fan and they played tough yesterday! No clue who everyone else will pick. Enjoy your glory, I would if it were me!

I haven't been in mouning. I'm unlike Dee & Kristin - as much as I wanted them to win and do well, I didn't think they would. So, I didn't get depressed when it didn't happen. However, I've had the flu all weekend, so you haven't heard from me.

I will continue to root for the Steelers and will also root for the Panthers.

Unlike your cousins, I WILL NOT,a nd I repeat, NOT root for the Steelers. As a matter of fact, if they're in the superbowl, I probably won't even watch the game. Not worth it! But I will watch the Seahawks next weekend and will even wash my shirt so I can wear it again!

I am not in mourning. I moped for about 30 seconds after the game and then I was over it. I'm looking forward to next season. We're going to be awesome. We got a new offensive coach and we're working on how to keep Lavar around. We're going to the Superbowl next year. No doubt about it. Maybe we'll meet again at the playoffs next year!! You can beat us once, but you can't beat us twice!
