Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

So I haven't written all week because my days have pretty much been the same:
Wake up late
Rush to work
Plug through the day
Watch for the clock to hit 4:30pm
Bolt out the door
Get home, change clothes
Veg in front of TV
Go to bed at 10:30.

Okay, so the days are interesting because I'm just busy as shit here at work. But no one wants to hear about how many meetings I have to coordinate in a day (roughly, 3 with attendance ranging from 4 to 22 people, most of which are doctors). So I don't write too much about work.

Tuesday night I walked with my buddy. It was cold.
Then Steve and I met up with our friends Lisa-n-Kelly for dinner at a cute little place that we love, the Acorn Eatery. The was a husband-wife duo playing who were very entertaining - an Ozzy Osborne song on cello and upright bass. Just beautiful.

Wednesday I stopped by Fred Meyer and bought mom a Superbowl shirt. I need to mail that off this weekend. When I got home, I hung up the shower curtain that I received from mom in the mail. [I found a beautiful shower curtain at Kohl's when we were in Houston and Steve even liked it. But they were out, so mom said she'd check back in a month or so and pick one up for me. It's amazing what we go through just to make the bathroom look pretty.]

Later, I vegged and watched Lost in front of a fire. I contemplated cutting my nails so I could play guitar, but they're so pretty right now. And I want to paint them blue and green for the Superbowl and they wouldn't look as good short. So after the Superbowl.

No plans tonight. May go buy new jeans at Eddie Bauer. Mine are now too short. Which is odd, because they weren't too short for a long time. I guess I had a growth spurt. So I need new jeans because I feel like I'm wearing highwaters.

Now you're all caught up.

Don't you love Lost? And leave your nails long so you can paint them blue and green. Wish I was painting my burgundy and gold! Maybe Butch will paint his black and gold! ;>)

Sorry - I didn't sign my first post and since my name isn't anonymous, you might not know who posted. And wonder why you have to type a word verification on your blog to do an anonymous post? It doesn't prove anything, you just type what you see!

You have to type the word you see to prove that you are a legitimate (sp?) person. Before I checked the little box that made that word appear, I was getting random comments that were auto generated by spammers.

Look at you! Learnin'! Now you're in the know :)

You actually got auto generated comments from spammers??? Pretty interesting! I can only imagine what the comments were!
