Happy Solstice!
The longest day of the year! The sun is scheduled to set at 9:10pm, which means it won't be dark until almost 10:30pm. Which means I won't get to sleep until midnight. Ack.
I was quite the little Seattle-lite this morning.
I walked to the bus stop, while eating my soy sausage patty and wearing my backback. The on the way to work, I started reading "How To Work For An Idiot", a book I picked up a few months ago. Very insightful so far.
And since I rode the bus again today, no car yet. However, I'm *this close* to buying one. A Hyundai Elantra hatchback, red, with sunroof. Because if I'm going to be practical and get the cheaper, fuel effecient car instead of the big, expensive, oversized, impractical Tucson I really want, I'm going to splurge and get a sunroof. Steve and I looked at and test drove cars until 9pm last night. The dealership is bringing in a red hatchback and should have it for me tonight or Friday. I'm not in a big rush, as long as I have it by this weekend. Lopez Island. Taking Monday off. Because I can, that's why. I think I need a little R&R.
I'm going to probably go ahead and just put another radiator in the Escort and then sell it. We should be able to get a couple thousand out of it. It will have a brand new radiator, for pete's sake! Is that how you spell "sake"?

You must be related to Kyle. His answer for everytime I ask him why he's doing something (usually something ridiculous) is "because I can." ;>) And yes, that is how you spell "sake." (I think).
