Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

Quiet in Seattle

It's been a relatively quiet week.
Steve took me out to dinner on Tuesday to parade me and my boots around. After I told him to. He sold the latex mattress Tuesday also.

Wednesday, I took a long lunch with our friend Morgan from Tacoma. We ate at Blue C then toodled around Fremont for a bit. We also took a tour of the Theo Chocolate Factory. And there were samples. Mmmm. I worked until 7pm that night to make up for the long lunch. Then Lost later that night. Awesome episode. Why was Jack having such a good time with the Others? Was it a mirage? Was he brainwashed? Is he faking it just so he can escape when they let down their guard? It's all very exciting. And next week we get to see how Locke ended up in the wheelchair. Good stuff.

Yesterday was very quiet at work, which made me very sleepy at work. I hate it when it's crazy, but at least I stay awake. I didn't feel like cooking so I stopped at the store and bought pizza rolls. They have a new flavor! Supreme. Yummy. I also got some frosting and green dye to make a St. Patty's day cake for today since there are no March birthdays. At least, I don't think there are. Then good TV all night and in bed by 10pm.

But I still hit snooze until 7:30am this morning. I don't know what the problem is. I'm waking up later and later. Time change? New mattress? Lazy? Hmm.

And now I'm having a lunch of fish-n-chips from the cafeteria. Very difficult with a plastic fork. I need to start bringing my own silverware to work so I can actually penetrate my food rather than just push it around the plate.

I think Steve and I are going to head down to the Lock & Keel tonight. It's been a while and I'd like ring in the weekend with something besides TV. And the rest of the weekend looks to be wide open. No gigs for Steve, no plans with friends. Kim-n-Tim may come over for dinner but we haven't finalized the plan yet.

I guess I really have nothing of interest to report. Sorry.
