Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

It was like Everest.....

I went showshoeing today with our friends Kim-n-Tim. We've been talking about this ever since Steve and I had dinner with them a few weeks ago and decided, in a drunken fit, that we MUST GO SNOWSHOEING! Steve wasn't very interested, he'd rather go snowboarding. I don't like going down hill, really fast, with my feet strapped into things. But walking through the pretty snow with little snowshoes on my feet sounded like fun. And goodness, the workout.

We only 'shoed for about 3 hours, but man, it was exhausting. I figured that, but I also thought it would be harder on my body. But I don't hurt at all! We got home around 3pm and after I ate, I took at 2 hour nap. Now I'm starving again. Hula hooping and snowshoeing - it's my new workout!

Hula hooping and snow shoeing. You go, girl! Sounds fun. The pic of the creek reminds me of WV! Very pretty, but you know I'm not a winter person.

I WANT PICTURES! (Of my own that I can print and frame. . . .) Have no idea where I would hang them, but, hey - I'll find a place! Loved the one of the creek IF Tim's head hadn't been in it.

You outdoorsy girl, you! ;-) I am just not a fan of the cold, so snow shoeing does not sound fun. But, it looked amazing!
