Happy Birthday to Me!
Okay, so my birthday isn't until April, but my mama is such a sweet gal, she wanted me to buy my birthday present early since I could use it tomorrow when I go snowshoeing!
A video camera! Now I can annoy all of my friends!
I spent all day at work yesterday researching cameras - do I want one with a little disk in it that can do directly into the dvd player, or do I want a tape? Do I want a color LCD viewfinder, or a black and white? My god, the options! We narrowed it down to the Panasonic GS19.
We shopped allllll day, but we finally found a GS19 that wasn't a floor model (or "unmolested" as Steve kept saying).
We also went to the Cat Show this morning, before all of the shopping. Putties everywhere!! So pretty......

Happy early b-day. ;>) Enjoy your new camera and annoy ALL of your friends! What the heck does one do at a Cat Show besides look at cats? I didn't picture you as a cat person.
She is DEFINITELY a cat person - ask her about all her adopted cats! I'm even thinking they'll end up getting one before too long (am I right?).
Yea for an early present! What kind of features does it have? Ours is a tape - not one that you can put the DVD into the player. But, we have a dvd burner on the computer. We still have to buy some other crap to help the recorder "talk" to the computer so we can burn the dvds. I'm so not a tech person.
Hmmm. I love cats. But, a cat show? Not sure about it.
The camera isn't too fancy. But it's got all yer basics. It's also a tape. But I can download the videos onto my computer and then burn them onto a disk. Once I get a better computer.
And the cat show is cool. They judge cats on the best breed but they also have the agility area. Someone leads the cats through the course waving a feather to get their attention. Very cute.
