Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

Dates and Exemptions

Steve and I went on a nice little date last night. We walked down to Market St and ate dinner at the new pizza joint, Snoose Junction. Yummy. Then we went to the Majestic Bay and saw "Music & Lyrics". Cheesy and mushy, yes, but that Hugh Grant is such a cutie.

Then back home and early to bed.

Today, we went to Bed, Bath & Beyond to pick up a wedding gift for Katie's & Chris' reception tomorrow. Then, just as an afterthought, we went to Nordstrom Rack to see if they had any cute dresses - for me. Just in case you were wondering.

Oddly enough, they had many cute dresses and almost all of them looked fabulous on me! I love that! I narrowed it down to two - the cheap one and the not-so-cheap one. I asked Steve which one he liked best. He picked the not-so-cheap one. Figures. So, after much debate, he offered to buy me the not-so-cheap one. He liked it that much.

Everyone now......"ahhhhhhhh". Such a sweetie.

So, then of course, we have to have new shoes for the new dresses!! We didn't have time to shop for shoes at this point, as our friend Morgan From Tacoma was coming up to visit and share a bottle of special wine. Morgan was not aware that we aren't drinking this month (with the exception of those few, special days). But how could we deny Morgan the pleasure of sharing his special wine? We rarely see him and it's not like we were going to get completely trashed. One glass!

So another exemption day was declared and we had a glass of wine with Morgan. And we went out for sushi. What a great day. Dresses, wine and sushi! And 70 degree weather!

It doesn't get much better than that.
