Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

Brussel Sprouts & Other Random Things

I like brussel sprouts.
And I'm not afraid to admit it.

Maybe it's because mom didn't force feed them to me when I was a child. I don't think I had even eaten a brussel sprout until just last year. Such a sheltered life I've led.

Yesterday was icky. Icky weather. Icky work. I was in a funk. So there's nothing too important to report at this time.

Today is much better. I slept through the night so I'm well rested and rarin' to go! I finished off all of my antibiotic and I think my sinuses are a little better. I haven't had to use Sudafed since Saturday night. I also haven't had alcohol since Saturday night. Although I'm still a bit sniffy. And I just sneezed. Coincidence?

Another sneeze. Hmmm.

Wine.

Sneeze.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

I'm still eating dairy, too. I know, I know, I said I was going to go off that too, but it's hard! I love cheese! One difficult thing at a time.

Tonight, I'm cleaning for Lisa. And Lost is back on!! I told Lisa I have to be finished by the time it comes on, then I'll just hang out and watch it there. Then Steve is playing with his band tomorrow night at a new, little place in Ballard (that has gumbo and red beans and rice!). I'm looking forward to seeing him play, and just hanging out, chillin', not drinking.

And then, no plans yet for the weekend. I kinda have a hankering to go to Portland. Or somewhere. We've been spending all of our time with other people so it would be nice to have some quality time with just Steve.

I'll have to think about that.

I like brussel sprouts too! There aren't many of us out there.

Did you like Lost? I thought it was really good. Although I'm very upset about the new time. 10:00 pm is not good for me - that's bedtime.
