Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

Crazy Weather

It's the funniest thing.
It's been hotter than hell here for the past week so I was all looking forward to going swimming on our camping trip.

This morning it's 63 degrees and overcast. They say it may reach 70 today.
Granted, that's here in Seattle and we're going to be two hours to the east where it's there's hope, I guess.

We're off to the grocery store to get supplies, then we'll pack up, go get Sean and head out. Roughin' it!

Oh, went over to D&S's last night. I took Jonah to the mall so Daniela could get some packing done. He freaked out after about an hour and a half, so we went back home. We took turns occupying him and packing. Daniela fed him, I gave him a bath, Sergio would pick him up and swing him around. The saying "It take a village to raise a child" is not entirely false.

I finally had to leave at 10pm because I couldn't pack anything without tearing up. I loaded stuff into my car (they're not moving their food so they told me to take it) and started to drive off when Daniela came out and said she needed another hug. We just stood there and cried for 15 minutes. I hate this. And now my eyes have these huge bags under them today. It's been an emotional week.

I need a vacation......

You know, you could always follow D&S (and Julie) to the east coast. Then you'd have your 2 best friends close by. (Don't you think that's a good idea, Dee?)

Hmmmm.....sounds like a plan. And she could even drive to Florida to see Wendy.
