Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

I love President's Day!

I got the day off today!
So I slept until 10:30am. Then I went for breakfast at the Moose Cafe, which I had never been to before. It's a mexican themed restaurant. I had no idea! They have a whole menu full of mexican breakfasts. I don't like mexican breakfasts so I just got the eggs, potatoes and toast.

Then I got my car washed, stopped by a little furniture store on Market Street (where I found a headboard that I liked, but no bed that we could afford) and then on to grocery shopping. Very domestic day.

And to top off this very domestic day, I made moroccan stew for dinner and a pumpkin pie for dessert. Just because I could. It was pretty easy. The pie is completely gone now. Steve loves pumpkin pie.

After dinner, a couple of my girlfriends came over and we planned our friend Lisa's bachelorette weekend. That's March 3, 4 & 5. The boys are all going up to Vancouver so the girls are staying at Lisa's and partying. Should be fun.

Yesterday, Steve and I went to a Nascar party with Kim-n-Tim. There was brunch (because it was 11am) and mimosas and bloody marys. They drove us so we lived it up!

And then last night I went dancing with my other friend Rachelle. Yes, Rachelle. We went to the Little Red Hen for some kikker dancing, but it turned into 70's rock dancing. Which was fine. We still had a great time and I got to twirl. We're going dancing again on Friday. 80's dancing. Shake yer booty.

And now I need to go to bed because I have our 7am staff meeting tomorrow morning. Ug.
