Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

Baby Shower

The baby shower was a hit!

We had about 14 women over (and one toddler and one baby) for three hours and that was just fine. This was the extent of my decorating:

I call it, Babes in Brownies.

And here's Kim with her freshly painted onsies:

I got that idea from Daniela's baby shower. I didn't paint one. Because I threw the shower, that's why. There were no games and Kim was just fine with that. I think she would have been fine not even having a shower, but with all of her friends asking "When's the shower?!" she felt like she needed to have one.

And now we move on to Steve's Swanky Soiree. I've got three weeks and I'm going to be in Houston for five of those days, so I gotta get on it! A few friends have graciously volunteered to help so I'm taking them up on it. I'm thinking there will be a Happy Hour Planning Meeting in sometime this week. I can share my spreadsheets.

Babes in Brownies. I love it. I may steal it one day. And did you ask everyone to paint a onsie and bring it with them or did you guys do that at the shower? Nice idea. Good job on the baby shower, good luck with the b-day party! And thanks for the explanation of Cible. ;>) You learn something new everyday!

Ditto to Dee's Babes in Brownies. That's quite cute. And I loved the onsies. You did good.
