Life Out Here

Just a small way to keep my friends and family, who are strewn about the country, in The Know about my life in Seattle.

$3.35

Gas went up again at the 7-11.

I bought bus tickets on Sunday. Yes, I'll have to get up an extra hour early and walk one and a half miles on my way to work and on the way home, and yes, I may have to deal with strangers (a slight phobia....is there a word for that one?) but at least I'm not shelling out $3.35 for a freakin' gallon of gasoline. I've even changed my massage appointments to 6:45 from 5:30 to give me ample time to make it home, change clothes, then walk there.

*sigh*

I'm already exhausted.

Seems like now would be a good time to think about investing in a small motorcycle!

Girl, it's not worth all that. Losing an hour of sleep?? I don't think so. Walking a mile and a half to and from work? I don't think so. (If you walked 3 miles everyday anyway for exercise, that would be one thing, but....) Give up a coffee or latte, maybe a lunch or dinner out once a week and you'll save the difference. Your time is worth more than that! Yesterday it was 2.89 at WaWa and 2.93 at Safeway.
